The 52nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Pediatric Surgeons
Surgeon-in-Chief, Pediatric Surgery Kobe Children's Hospital
Professor of Surgery Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine

Dear Colleagues,

It is my great pleasure and privilege to invite you to participate in the 52nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Pediatric Surgeons (JSPS52), which will take place at the Kobe International Conference Center in Kobe from 28th to 30th May 2015.

JSPS was established in 1964 and evolved continuously where new ideas and technologies have been developed and medical and social environments have been changing incessantly. JSPS has a large membership of pediatric surgeons in Japan, and had been continuing to grow and thrive over the past 50 years. The annual meeting will be a great opportunity for all participants to exchange knowledge in Pediatric Surgery and extend social network.

We have decided the theme of JSPS52 to be: "Pediatric Surgical Innovation and Care." "Surgical innovation" respect the frontier spirit in the field of pediatric surgery. The participants would also discover the value of "Surgical care" that we have done and where we are doing.

We are expecting approximately 1,000 pediatric surgeons from all over the Japan and Pacific area to attend this meeting in Kobe. Plans are already underway to make JSPS52 a truly unique and memorable experience, both scientifically and socially. From abroad, several pediatric surgeons are going to give us important messages. We would like to organize a number of international sessions about current topics.

I am looking forward to welcoming you to Kobe Japan in May 2015.
