Information for Participants

Registration

Please pay the registration fee of 18,000 yen in cash at the registration desk. (Medical students are exempt from participation fee.)
The registration desk is located on 1st floor of Kobe International Conference Center. You will receive a name-tag upon registration for the meeting. Please make sure to put it on at all times during the meeting.

The registration desk will be open during the following hours:

·  May 28 (Thu) 7:00-17:00
·  May 29 (Fri) 7:00-17:00
·  May 30 (Sat) 7:00-16:00

Official language

Official language of the congress is Japanese.
English shall be used in the international sessions.

Oral Presentation Information

  • Only PC presentations are allowed.
  • Presenter should bring their data to PC Data Desk within 30 minutes before presentation.
    *Bring the data to PC Center at 3rd floor.
  • Windows Users: Use CD-R, or USB drive (CD-RW is not compatible) to deliver your presentation to the PC Data Desk. Presenters whose data size exceeds 500MB are requested to bring their own PC. The Applications available: PowerPoint 2010/2013.

    Macintosh Users: Requested to bring their own PC and external-output cables.

    The PC Data Desk will be open at the following time:
    ·  May 28 (Thu) 7:30-17:00
    ·  May 29 (Fri) 7:30-16:30
    ·  May 30 (Sat) 7:30-16:00

    Presenters are requested to bring their own computers and their own external-output cables.
    Prior to your presentation, make sure that your presentation does not render any garbled characters when opened on another computer than yours.
  • Please save your presentation file in the following file name form: Abstract Number_Presenter's Name.ppt (e.g.: IS1-01_JohnSmith.ppt). Note: ".ppt" must be in English half size characters.
  • Fonts must be chosen from the default PowerPoint fonts, such as Times New Roman, Century, Century Gothic, Arial or Symbol.
  • Application of animation and motion pictures are accepted, but only which workable by Power Point. Those who wish to use these applications are requested to bring their own personal computers.
  • Presenters would operate the keyboard and the mouse set on the podium during their presenting time.

Poster Presentation Information

The poster session at the Annual Meeting will only make use of digital posters.
No paper poster will be displayed, only data posters.
Presentation slide data is to be registered in advance. More details below.
